I have owned this car for just under a year. It's great to drive, really handy with the 5 seats and dual range 4wd. Plenty of power! Low mileage for it's age. I was thinking of downsizing to a little wagon just before some engine trouble popped up, so I will sell it as is. It would be a great car to fix, I dont have the time or know how to do the work, would be a great buy for someone who does.
The last few weeks it has been running rough, so I took it in to my mechanic to have a look. He said 2 valves are not working properly, and the heads will need re-conditioning. It still drives fine, come and have a look and see what you think. It is dual fuel, but the tank is out of date, and the mixer just needs a tune to run it on gas. These problems are taken into consideration with the low price!
Other than the engine trouble, it runs great. Really neat inside and out, clean interior and very well looked after. Clutch is excellent, also recently got spark plugs, full rear brake overhaul, and oxygen sensor installed. Please come and check it out for yourself! Available for test drives in Glenorchy.
